Based in New York City, Krauss works have been selected by prominent museum curators; her new painting "Composing Paths" was just recently chosen by Juror Laura G. Einstein, Manager of The Gallery at the MET, as a finalist for the National Color Award Exhibit. Her pathways series is based on the concept of how we move through life. "Those paths which we define by choice or by chance... (fortuitously) How they intermix, sometimes blend, creating relationships. Sometimes missing each other just passing by. The impact, the mark, the subtlety, the dependance... All created in spontaneous and calculated brushstrokes." the artist explains.
